Biography
EDIE F. MINKOFF has been a patron of the arts throughout her life. After a few years of acting in Hollywood, California, Edie decided to move to the opposite side of the desk. For most of her adult life she has been involved in theatrical management of artists in film, theatre and television. She then expanded into handling fine artists as well. She had a strong passion for photography for many years and finally decided to devote her time to doing just that. She has admired and collected photographic art for the past twenty years. Her collection includes the works of Andre Kertesz, Horst, Henri Cartier Bresson, Herb Ritz, Louise Dahl-Wolfe, Hy Peskin, Sally Mann, David La Chapelle, Sid Avery and many others. Imbued by these artists, she matriculated in advanced photography courses at the Boca Museum of Art School. Since that time she has taken thousands of photos in a variety of venues. Edie's artwork has been seen in various exhibitions in and around South Florida. She is a SIGNATURE MEMBER of THE ARTISTS’ GUILD of the BOCA RATON MUSEUM OF ART. In April, 2013 she was elected PRESIDENT of the WOMEN IN THE VISUAL ARTS
