A common subject today is unity. We are all feeling the disconnect not just in this country but worldwide. It is important that we look for our commonalities and not just our differences. My work usually isn’t political but it doesn’t hurt to create something that reminds all of use to stay united. We basically all want the same things so let’s unite in loving one another. Thoughts included in the painting (fabric mosaic): “So powerful is the light of unity that it can illuminate the whole earth. If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. Words divide us, actions unite us. Unity starts with you.”
