David Banegas is no stranger to charity work. He often contributes his artistic talents to towards awareness and fundraising for a good cause.
For the fifth year in a row, David Banegas has worked with the Dan Marino on an event at Adios Golf Club raising money to help football players with head injuries.
David will be collaborating with Dan Marino again this year for a different cause at the Art for Autism event by Easton Art Galleries. The artist will be offering artwork in auction and live action painting to benefit the football legend’s personal foundation along with Surfers for Autism. The Dan Marino Foundation has a 25-year track record of results-driven initiatives to improve the lives of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities.
David has the philosophy of giving as much as you can, and then it will be given to you. David remains dedicated to working for children’s charities around the United States and South America, including Best Buddies, SHUZZ, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure. He has established the ‘David Banegas Foundation’, which is primarily focused on providing children with shoes, both domestically and in his native country of Bolivia. As David says, “they [children] are our future,” and he sums up his charity work as “the pursuit of happiness.’
